There are some basic things that you must prepare before thinking of generating residual income from your home based business.
Generate traffic
Driving traffic to your website should be your first priority in your home based business as it is this traffic that you drive to your site that will create sales for you. Without any visitors to your site is like a store without any customers. And you will have to be honest with them as it reflect directly to your integrity. Once you have lost the trust of your leads, you can never sell them another thing.
Create autoresponding emails
The only way to make your leads purchase anything from you is to have a series of good e-mails written to educate them in this business and promote them those stuff you think will be helpful to them.
With these things done, you now can focus on traffic generation. You need to have at least three products selected to be promoted through your emails to get started. You can then add in products as you go along. Also, add products that will help tham out as well as create a strong residual income for yourself.
